New Ferrari called 248 F1

At the Mugello circuit in Italy, Ferrari officially launched its 2006 contender; the Ferrari 248 F1. The new car was driven this morning in front of the press by Michael Schumacher. The '248' comes from the new 2.4-litre, V8 engine.

Michael Schumacher and Felipe Massa will race the Ferrari 248 F1 this season. Schumacher also gave the car it's first shakedown in private at Fiorano last week. The team is preparing to embark on an intensive development programme before the start of the season.
