Despite being the first to launch its 2006 car back in November, the Toyota TF106 has not looked so sharp in winter testing compared to Renault, Honda and Ferrari. While the team has spent much of winter testing getting used to the switch to Bridgestone tyres, the team is holding out until next week when it will introduce a major aerodynamic update.
"Everything we are working on is a learning process; learning to adjust to the tyres, but we are looking forward to seeing how the aerodynamic package will make an impact next week on our progress," said test team manager Gerd Pfeiffer.
