Wembley to host 2007 Race of Champions

The new Wembley stadium in London will play host to the next Race of Champions event in December 2007. The stadium has yet to be completed and has been subjected to several delays, but things finally look like coming together in early 2007.

This year's Race of Champions took place at the Stade de France in Paris where Sweden's Mattias Ekstroem, winner of the 2003 DTM championship beat Sebastien Bourdais and Sebastien Loeb. 

Fernando Alonso did not take part in the event.
