Massa relishes comeback pole

Felipe Massa was relishing his comeback pole position at Istanbul after suffering such a dismal result in Hungary when Ferrari failed to refuel him correctly in the final qualifying session.

"It was very tough and you could see that every single part of qualifying was always a big fight between the top four drivers," said Massa. "In the final one I managed to put together a great lap and I'm very proud after such a bad result in Hungary we deserve it. It's very important to start from pole position especially as the race will be very tough tomorrow."

Massa pulled his lap out of the bag in the final part of qualifying and snatched pole from Hamilton by 0.044s in the final seconds of the session.
