Williams continues Oris partnership

Williams announced on Thursday morning that it is extending its partnership with Oris into the 2010 season. The logo of the Hölstein-based company will be seen in full view on the front of driver overalls this year as it becomes the second Swiss watchmaker to renew a Formula 1 contract this week.

With Sauber having confirmed that its relationship with Certina will go on for at least another season, the Williams-Oris relationship will see the logo of the company established in 1904 on, not just the overalls of Rubens Barrichello and newcomer Nico Hülkenberg, but on each side of the drivers' helmets.

Oris logos also remain on the front wing end plates of the Williams FW32 plus driver gloves and the left sleeves of overalls.

"I am delighted that Oris has increased its partnership agreement with the team which is now one of the longest standing relationships in our sponsorship portfolio," commented Team Principal Sir Frank Williams. "In return, the team will ensure that this is only strengthened during 2010 to honour Oris' continued commitment to our goal of success on the race track."
