Jaguar has vowed to up its game in the second-half of season '04. ''We haven't made the most of it on the track,'' said head of car performance Dr Mark Gillan, ''for various reasons. Reliability has been the main one.''
Only in Bahrain and at the Nurburgring, has a green car scored points. ''We have to [score regularly] now,'' Gillan admitted.
But moving on to Magny-Cours, the Leaping Cat must know it will lose Mark Webber in '05, even if a performance-clause doesn't kick-in until Budapest (Aug. 15).
