Michael Schumacher has performed a back-flip. At Magny-Cours, Ferrari's multiple World Champion told a pack of media he supported Max Mosley's plea for drastic rule changes to avoid 'another death.'
He said: "[Ralf's injuries are] really a warning to us we cannot ignore."
But on Monday, Schumacher reckons the speed of F1 cars is 'not a problem at the moment' but added that it could, one day, 'become a [safety] problem.'
The German argues for 'lasting regulations' that'll slow the progress of technology, "so that we don't reach that danger-zone" of harmful shunts. He said 'drastic' measures are often 'rash ones.'
