Australia's grand prix star Mark Webber has finally denied speculation he is poised to switch Formula One teams before the '04 season is even complete. Jaguar's David Pitchforth said last week the 27-year-old is 'not going to leave' to fill Ralf Schumacher's Williams seat early with the German off injured.
But stories persisted that Frank Williams would pay Jaguar compensation. A spokesperson in Webber's camp, though, has now told sources in the Aussie media that it's 'most unlikely' the driver will go anywhere before '05.
He added: ''It certainly hasn't been discussed with Mark or [his] management.''
Webber has already told Australian publications that confirmation on a new '05 drive - ostensibly with Williams - will probably be revealed in Hungary (Aug.).
