Toyota like many other teams has not spent much time testing at the Silverstone circuit this season. But technical director Mike Gascoyne thinks his team will not be at any disadvantage. With both its drivers scoring points at Magny Cours, the Toyota team has higher hopes from the British Grand Prix weekend.
"It can be an advantage to test at Silverstone but only if you meet similar conditions at the race weekend," Gascoyne said. "This year we haven't done that much testing there but we have a substantial database from previous races and tests. After six points in France, we have secured good starting slots for qualifying and we are confident of achieving yet another strong result."
