This is the experience of Ron UK. from United Kingdom

Circuit:Barcelona
Year:2000
How did you go to the Grand Prix?Driven from Manchester to Luton Airport, caught Easyjet flight to Barcenlona then train to Callela.

Where did you stay?Olympic hotel in Callela

How was the transportation from your accomodation to the circuit?Arranged to meet up with some friends staying in the same town who already had access to a hire car, this we shared the costs as well as fuel. Drive was about 45 minutes there as well as back.

Was it easy to get to the circuit?Very easy, no real traffic jams apart form raceday but even that was only half an hour, otherdays like practice and qualifying was straight into the carpark, unbelievable.

What kind of tickets did you have?We had the 3 day tickets for Granstand "E" which was an superb place to view. You could see them coming down the main straight and disapear round turns 1 & 2 then back into the infield, can'y say anywhere else was better even though we all spent a good hour and half walking round the track. a much sort after location cause it was sold out.

Why would you encourage or discourage people to take these tickets?Well apart from a good view, good weather, good prices ( cheaper than Silverstone ) good hotels and good loacation, we worked out that the whole package combined was ££££'s cheaper than a weekends racing at Silverstone. To discourage, well if you don't like hot weather, then there's nothing I could say to put people from going.

Why should people go to this GP?Main reason is that it's cheap, get cheap flights, get a cheap but resonable hotel, get you tickets direct from the circuit ( via website ) save yourself £££££'s. and you don't see muddy carparks and get stuck !

Why shouldn't people go to this GP?If you don't like flying, that's it really.
