This is the experience of Martine from The Netherlands

Circuit:Barcelona
Year:2000
How did you go to the Grand Prix?Flew to Barcelona, from there by train to the circuit.

Where did you stay?In a hotel near the Ramblas.

How was the transportation from your accomodation to the circuit? We took the subway, a few minutes to the central station. From there we took the train to Montmelo (less than half an hour). From Montmelo station it's a 20-minute walk to the circuit.

Was it easy to get to the circuit?Yes, it's not very crowded in the trains, so everyone always had seats, even on raceday. It's a nice walk to the circuit, but you can also take a cab in front of the station if you wanna be there quick (5 mins, 2000 PTS).

What kind of tickets did you have?3-day tickets to tribune G.

Why would you encourage or discourage people to take these tickets?Great tickets! You overlook 3 (3rd-2nd-4th gear)turns (the turns where the Schumacher-brothers and Barrichello were fighting last year). They're also the cheapest tickets there are. BTW, with all tickets you can sit whereever you want on Friday.

Why should people go to this GP?Relaxing atmosphere, great view over the entire circuit + everyone has giant screens, nice wheather, not too crowded, great city! Loved the experience! I will be going again this year and hopefully also in the following years.

Why shouldn't people go to this GP?Barcelona has produced some boring races in the past, but last year's race was quite a spectacle, so don't let that track-record keep you from visiting it.
