This is the experience of NyF1 from Denmark

Circuit:A1-Ring
Year:2002
How did you go to the Grand Prix?By own car from Denmark. We were 7 people in 3 cars, because we are coming from different areas within DK. The trip is app. 1400 KM, but very easy to go Thursday afternoon, returning right after the race.

Where did you stay?In Grosslobming, at Camping Murinsel. A recommendable place to stay.

How was the transportation from your accomodation to the circuit?By own car - Grosslobming is not far away from the race track. It took about 20 minutes to drive the 7 KM, and the traffic are under control.

Was it easy to get to the circuit?Yes, signs are well telling in which direction to go and the traffic is well under control due to the Austrian police.

What kind of tickets did you have?We got Silver2 tickets at the Gösser Grandstand. It is a covered grandstand with numbered seats and a giant screen at the inside of the track, just opposite the seats.

Why would you encourage or discourage people to take these tickets? The overview are good and you know for sure you got a place to stay, compared to the general admission tickets (Bronze).

Why should people go to this GP?A1 Ring are located in some great surroundings, which is something on its own. To see a F1 GP here are a pleasure itself, i'm going there again this year (2003), and this time we are 18 visitors in our private group.

Why shouldn't people go to this GP?I don't see any reason not to there. Only thing which could be better at this GP weekend, is that at least 1 other race could be placed in same weekend, allthough F3000 and Porsche Cup are taken place as well - maybe a motoGP, oldies or trucks could be interesting, just to fill out the time schedule.
