Formula One could install a team budget-cap to keep costs down. That is the controversial suggestion of Ford's Richard Parry-Jones as the pinnacle of motor sport faces up to the fact that status-quo is unsustainable.
He said that other successful sports are capping costs and there is 'no reason' why grand prix racing could not do the same whilst retaining the spectacle.
