The Jaguar Racing team is confident star driver Mark Webber will stay with the team for the 2005 season despite widespread rumour that the BMW WilliamsF1 team is set to buy him out of his current contract at the end of this season and field him in 2005 as a replacement for Montoya.
"We have no intention of losing Mark," Jaguar boss Tony Purnell told Autosport. "If the car goes well and the team goes well, he'll want to stay."
Webber is believed to have performance related clauses in his contract with Jaguar. The same report in Autosport claims that Webber has asked manager Flavio Briatore to clarify his future by the British Grand Prix.
