Almost 10 years ago Formula One lost two drivers. Rookie Roland Ratzenberger lost his life in Formula One practice, while legend Ayrton Senna crashed out of the race. The upcoming race in San Marino will be one of remembrance as Formula One returns, possibly for the last time, to the Italian circuit.

Gerhard Berger, former team mate of Senna commented on Senna as a driver: "He was the one driver so perfect that nobody thought anything could happen to him," Berger told Reuters.

"He was the only driver I respected," declared four-times champion and old rival Alain Prost.
