Jenson Button believes Ayrton Senna saved his life. The Briton said if the great triple world champion hadn't perished at the Imola race-track ten years ago, he might not have survived a Monaco shunt in 2003.

'The only positive thing you can take from his death,' the BAR star told 'The People', 'is that afterwards safety was changed. It's helping us even now.'

But Button, 24, would never become complacent in his 900bhp racer. 'If you crash into a wall,' said Jenson, 'you can hurt yourself.'
