Spain is to pay tribute to the life of Ayrton Senna this weekend. As the Formula One circus rolls into town, reports imply that the Circuit de Catalunya will open a 'memorial plaque' of the F1 great in Champions Avenue.
May 1, 2004, marked ten years since Senna, from Brazil, crashed and died. One of his last podium appearances was made at this Barcelona race track nearly a full year earlier, when he shared the rostrum with old rival Alain Prost. Michael Schumacher, today's F1 hero, finished third in that 1993 race.
