Nigel Mansell is not turning on his television every second Sunday. The Englishman, whose wins-in-a-row record looks certain to tumble to Michael Schumacher at Monaco this weekend, said there's 'no point' watching F1 in 2004.
''Unless he makes a mistake,'' said the 1992 champion, ''he'll walk [Monaco]. ''Ferrari have so much in reserve,'' he told the Sunday Times.
Mansell, who won five races in a row but was beaten by Ayrton Senna at Monaco '92, said today's rules make 'life much easier' for the leading grand prix team. ''In Barcelona, Schumacher didn't have to overtake anyone,'' he noted.
''He just did it in the pits. That's not his fault, but it shows there's something badly wrong. A lot of it is down to the safety changes at circuits.''
