Verstappen focused on 2005 season

It has been pretty quiet lately around Jos Verstappen. Last season the Dutchman was driving for Minardi, bringing with him Dutch sponsors such as Trust, Wilux and Muermans. This year Verstappen has been unable to secure a seat, although he did come close with the Jordan team. That was reason enough for F1Racing.net to get in touch with The Boss' management for an update.
Verstappen's management is active in their pursuit of F1. "We are still completely focused on Formula One," Raymond Vermeulen (Verstappen's manager) told F1Racing.net. "We are doing all we can at the moment to achieve the only goal we have: Get Jos back into Formula One."
While Verstappen has sat out the season, the sponsors who backed him in 2003 have been active in the sport. Trust became sponsors at Jordan and Wilux became Minardi's title sponsor, though the two split-up after the German Grand Prix. But whether Verstappen can still count on them is not completely certain. "We haven't been in touch with Ruud Wildschut (Wilux CEO) lately, and we haven't been able to talk with Michel Perridon (Trust CEO) because of the summer holidays."
Last weekend Verstappen's manager was spotted in Budapest. Vermeulen explains: "I was in Budapest last weekend, but as a guest of Har Muermans who still sponsors the Minardi Formula One team."
Verstappen is still keeping himself in shape with fitness and also karting, his biggest hobby.
