Webber will be champion - Purnell

Mark Webber's former team boss Tony Purnell has backed the Australian to become a future Formula One World Champion. Webber has now joined the BMW WilliamsF1 team and will test for them at the end of November.

"Mark is the near-perfect racing driver," Purnell said. "He's professional and never does anything but try his hardest and when the going gets tough he is focused and determined."
Webber was clearly the leading driver motivating his team while he was at Jaguar. He dominated his team mates at Jaguar but has yet to find out who will partner him at Williams in 2005.
