F1 team BAR has denied speculation that principal David Richards was fired after October's Brazilian grand prix. At the event near Sao Paulo, it was suggested that the contracted-to-2006 Briton's future had been threatened by the near loss of key driver Jenson Button.
"David is part of the management team appointed by (owner) BAT," a team spokeswoman said.
Richards, chief of the 'Prodrive' management company, is reportedly on holiday in Dubai.
