Webber clash rued
02 June 2005Williams' Sam Michael has lamented what might have been at the Nurburgring last Sunday. The technical director said Mark Webber was carrying similar fuel, and perhaps more, than the cars ahead and around him on the German grid.
After qualifying on much less fuel, pole sitting teammate Nick Heidfeld stopped one more time than Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso -- and finished P2. "It would have been interesting to see where Mark would have been at the end," Michael - referring to Webber's first lap clash - said with typical understatement.
