Head has stab at BMW 'KO'

The BMW-Williams F1 marriage has put the pedal to the metal on a fast track to breaking point. Williams' co-owner Patrick Head has joined Sir Frank in now slamming the Munich carmaker.

"I consider it extremely unprofessional that BMW talk publicly about their dissatisfaction in their relationship with us," he told Italy's 'Sport Auto Moto'. "Our partner chose to tell people they are perfect while accusing us. This shows very little character. Mario Theissen's approach is dishonest."

Undoubtedly, Head's comments only fuel speculation that BMW - Williams' works partner since 2000 - is off to Sauber.

Mark Webber sided with Frank and Patrick. "I think they'll work incredibly hard to try and help the BMW thing along," the Australian said. "Whatever engine we have will be for the benefit of the team. I fully trust them."
