Raikkonen and Montoya dominate practice

McLaren duo Kimi Raikkonen and Juan Pablo Montoya dominated first practice at Hockenheim on Saturday morning. The Finn edged out Montoya by just 0.069s while championship leader Fernando Alonso was third fastest, but a massive 0.793s behind.

It was a warm and sunny morning at the circuit. Air temperature was up at 19 degrees Centigrade and the track was getting hotter rising to 24 degrees Centigrade by the end of the session.

Red Bull's Christian Klien set a surprise fourth fastest time ahead of another surprise from Felipe Massa in fifth. David Coulthard crowned a good session for Red Bull in sixth ahead of the lead Williams of Mark Webber.

Jarno Trulli, Fisichella and Sato rounded off the top ten. Ferrari finished fourteenth and fifteenth.
