Friesacher 'no' to Friday job
28 July 2005Patrick Friesacher has ruled out returning to Formula One in a 'Friday' practice driving role. The Austrian rookie, who lost his Minardi race seat to Robert Doornbos after sponsorship cash dried up, said his manager Thomas Frank is already working on a 2006 package. "We do everything we can to come back," the 24-year-old said.
Friesacher had been linked with Doornbos' vacated 'Friday' position at Jordan, a seat filled at Hockenheim by Danish driver Nicolas Kiesa. But he said: "I am not interested in a Friday seat."
