Wurz fastest in first practice

Alexander Wurz was the fastest man on track this morning in free practice. The Austrian kept Barrichello and Button behind him. Championship leader Alonso ended 12th and Räikkönen fourth.

Channoch Nissany made his Formula One Grand Prix debut this morning. The Israeli completed 8 laps in the Minardi. He didn't manage to keep the car on track unfortunately and spun into the gravel once.

Other problems were there for Ricardo Zonta. Toyota's test driver stopped in the pitlane and had to be pushed back by his team to the pitbox.
