Official: Massa to replace Barrichello in 2006

Rumours were getting stronger and stronger last weekend in Hungary, but it is finally official. Felipe Massa will join the Ferrari team as their official race driver. He will replace Rubens Barrichello who will leave the team at the end of this season.

Rubens Barrichello is one of the candidates to replace Jenson Button at BAR. Felipe Massa isn't a big surprise. The Brazilian was Ferrari's official test driver back in 2003. He will join Michael Schumacher next season.
