Zonta fastest after first Turkish day

Toyota's third driver Ricardo Zonta set the quickest time on Friday. The Brazilian was over half of a second faster than McLaren's test driver Pedro de la Rosa. McLaren drivers Montoya and Raikkonen were third and fourth.

The weather today was overcast in Turkey. In the second session the drivers didn't take as much risk as they did in first practice to find out the limits of the track. Christian Klien went wide into the gravel once but could go make his way back to his team on his own.

Enrico Toccacelo made his Formula One debut today. Minardi's newly signed third driver covered 34 laps today.
