Kiesa extends contract at Jordan

Nicolas Kiesa will remain in Jordan's 'Friday' seat at the Brazilian and Chinese grands prix after signing an extended contract. The Dane was originally scheduled to run merely the last four European races of 2005, finishing with the recent Spa-Francorchamps event.

"I am very happy that I have been able to extend my existing contract," he said. In between Brazil and the Chinese finale, Sakon Yamamoto will climb into the spare car at Suzuka.

For the first time, Kiesa will have a 'b' spec Jordan at his disposal, as will Yamamoto at the Japanese event.
