Column: We will continue to develop the car

I have arrived in Sao Paulo on Monday evening. I was pretty shocked by the poor areas the city has. It makes you realise what a good life I can currently live… It is incredible in what kind of wooden houses many people have to live there. 

Before I went to Sao Paulo they told me to keep all the expensive things like phones and watches at home because the chance to be robbed is high. Now I'm here I don't think it's that bad when you just behave normally. 


Two weeks ago Paul Stoddart told us he sold the team to Red Bull. I think it is great news for the team. The team's future is secured and there will be a bigger budget available to work with for the team. I was expecting that the development of the current car would stop, but this weekend we will have new parts on the car again. I talked to the guys (in the team) and told them we should work as hard as possible to get the best results for the team in the final races. We are all still very motivated!

I am not sure what to expect from the weekend, as I didn't get to do my laps yet. I will do the best I can obviously!
