Column: Going to Japan

05 October 2005

In Brazil we had a pretty good race. I got the maximum out of the car and I don't think we can complain with the result with had at Interlagos. Next is Japan though. The Suzuka track is really a special track because it is the only track that has a fly-over.

It isn't the first time I will visit Japan. I have been there twice before, and once for a Formula Nippon test session (at Montegi). Japan is a really nice country to visit. I will be looking forward to arrive at the track this week. I already prepared myself a bit on the Playstation 2 to know where the corners will go at the circuit.

This week Honda announced they will take over British American Racing. It is big news in the world of Formula 1. It means there will be four new names at the 2006 grid! (Midland, Red Bull light, BMW and Honda)
I think it is good for the sport though because big car manufacturers will have a big budget to survive in Formula One.

In the past two weeks I had a very busy schedule. I have been working out a lot in the gym, but there were also many sponsor activities. We'll see how it goes at Suzuka… I will do the best I can: Maximum Attack!
