Albers and Schumacher collide on way to grid

Christijan Albers and Michael Schumacher have collided on their way to the grid. As Albers tried to pass the Ferrari driver, the two had contact. Both drivers immediately rushed back to the pit lane and jumped into the spare cars.

"Clearly not the best way to start the race but Michael will now start from the pit lane in the spare car," a Ferrari team spokesman said.

Albers will do the same.
