Barrichello won't test BAR in 2005

Rubens Barrichello will not be available for BAR-Honda this year. Ferrari team boss Jean Todt said Barrichello will remain a Ferrari driver until the end of the year. In 2006 Rubens Barrichello will join Jenson Button at the Honda F1 team.

"We will split with affection," Todt was quotes as saying in Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport. "Barrichello contributed in an important era of Ferrari's history. We had our good and bad moments like every couple had."

When Todt was asked if Barrichello would be released from his Ferrari contract to test the BAR before the end of the year Todt answered: "No. Rubens is a Ferrari driver until the end of the year."
