No opposition for Mosley

23 October 2005

Max Mosley looks set to win another four-year term in office as president of the FIA as there is nobody planning to stand against him in this week's election. The election is scheduled for Friday when it is expected Mosley will be confirmed as winner.

Before then Mosley will meet with team bosses and Bernie Ecclestone to agree a qualifying format for 2006 - this meeting is scheduled for Monday. On Wednesday the FIA is scheduled to announce the 2006 F1 calendar.
