Barcelona Day 2: Klien on top
29 November 2005 / Results / PhotosRed Bull Racing's Christian Klien started his team's winter testing programme by setting the pace on the second day of this week's test at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona. Klien's was running his 2005 Red Bull with a limited V10 engine and finished ahead of Alex Wurz in the McLaren.

It was a dry and clear day at the circuit as ten drivers from six teams took to the track. Klien was joined by Red Bull's new third driver - Robert Doornbos. The Dutchman compelted 50 laps on his debut and finished eighth fastest.
Toyota were a big focus for many as the team gave its freshly launched 2006 car its first test. Trulli and Zonta were in action and had a good day finishing fifth and third fastest respectively and completing 140 laps or almost 650km between them.

| Rosberg has a little spin |
Vitantonio Liuzzi was in action for Red Bull's second team - Toro Rosso and finished sixth fastest with a limited V10 Cosworth engine ahead of Nico Rosberg in the Williams. Rosberg tested for 58 laps in the morning and Andy Priaulx took over in the afternoon. Rosberg had a little spin in the afternoon, but nothing too dangerous.
Nick Heidfeld was the only other driver in action finishing ninth fastest in the Sauber BMW - completing just 27 laps befoer a fuel leak stopped play.
