Minardi founder leaves team

Gian Carlo Minardi

Gian Carlo Minardi, the founder of the Minardi F1 team, has left Red Bull's Toro Rosso team despite Red Bull boss Dietrich Mateschitz saying when he acquired Minardi that its founder would always be welcome. 

Minardi cited a 'lack of common ground' with his team's new owners to continue and has now left F1 after 26 years. He and Red Bull could not apparently agree on what his new role would be exactly.
