Williams: Karthikeyan still possible

On the second of January Williams officially announced that it has signed Alexander Wurz. The signing of the former McLaren test driver made the chances for Narain Karthikeyan to sign at Williams smaller it was suggested, but according to Frank Williams the team is still talking with Karthikeyan about a role within his team.

"Alex's appointment as Williams' official test and reserve driver does not necessarily mean that the team has no additional role for Narain," said team principal Frank Williams. "The team and Narain are still in dialogue and the possibility of a second testing role for him still exists."
