Mansell looks forward to Silverstone comeback

1992 F1 world champion Nigel Mansell is looking forward to returning to Silverstone after organisers of the new Grand Prix Masters series announced its 2006 schedule. The season will begin in Qatar on 29 April and will visit Silverstone for the British Grand Prix on 13 August.

"The special one will be Silverstone," Mansell said. "Racing in front of a home crowd will be quite surreal after all this time. My last Grand Prix there was back in 1992 and I won."

Mansell won the first Grand Prix Masters race in Kyalami back in November.
