Carroll frustrated as Honda signed Davidson

It was disappointing for Adam Carroll to hear the news Honda had extended Davidson's contract. The Briton was hoping to take over Davidson's role at the team. "I was quite frustrating over Christmas because I really didn't know what I was doing this year and what was going to happen," Carroll said.

Carroll explained to Setanta: "When Anthony stayed, that really didn't help me. If he had gone, I think I had a really good chance at the third driver (slot), but unfortunately he stayed. He's good at what he does, so I've just got to concentrate on racing now."
