Ferrari focus on endurance
11 April 2006 / Results / PhotosTuesday was the first day of testing this week for Ferrari, working at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona. Endurance testing was top of the agenda as the team completed the most mileage of any at the circuit.
The team's two test drivers, Luca Badoer and Marc Gene, each at the wheel of a 248 F1, on the first of a four day test session. Badoer worked mainly on development of new components, while his Gené began an endurance run. At the end of the day, 201 laps had been completed: 102 by Gene and 99 by Badoer. Gené set the overall pace.
Testing at this circuit continues tomorrow, when Marc Gene will be partnered by Felipe Massa.
