Gene has high expectations for Imola

Ferrari's test driver Marc Gene is testing this week at Circuit de Catalunya. The Spaniard believes the Italian team can win at Imola next week with their upgraded Ferrari 248 F1 chassis.

"We are going to Imola to win the race. Our car is going really fast and everyone in our team wants to score points now," Gene told Gazzetta dello Sport. "The V8 engine has already successfully gone through a couple of race simulations on the bench and one at Vallelunga, and here we didn't suffer from any problems either, so the reliability seems definitely to be solved. Now we must concentrate on our performance."
