Williams continues new suspension tests

12 April 2006

The WilliamsF1 team resumed testing yesterday in Barcelona working on the new suspension items it introduced at last week's test in Paul Ricard. The team is determined the new suspension parts be ready for use in Imola at the end of next week - a circuit which demands that cars ride the kerbs well. Nico Rosberg and Narain Karthikeyan were in action and finished second and fourth fastest.

"Nico and Narain were on duty in Barcelona for the first of a four day test which will see all of the team's drivers on circuit at some stage this week," said Williams test team manager Mike Condliffe. "Both drivers completed a busy testing schedule, running new aero parts and suspension items in the morning, followed by tyre construction tests in the afternoon. Mark Webber will join Nico for the second day of the test."
