Yamamoto joins Super Aguri

Super Aguri today announced that Sakon Yamamoto will join the team as their test driver for the British, Canadian and US Grand Prix. He will help Sato and Montagny in Friday's free practice sessions.

Sakon Yamamoto was obviously happy with his signing. He said: "I am very happy to be coming back into Formula One with SUPER AGURI F1 TEAM and I would like to thank everyone who has supported me. I will try to do my best in my new role as SAF1 Team third driver and give the team good feedback from my time in the car."

Sakon Yamamoto has raced in Super GT and All Japan Formula Nippon championship in Japan. At Suzuka Yamamoto made his Grand Prix debut last season as Jordan's third driver.
