Wind tunnel stalled Aguri new car
01 July 2006Super Aguri's plans to bring its new car to the French Grand Prix was scuppered by a failure at the wind factory the team was using, team boss Aguri Suzuki confirmed. The team will now bring two brand new cars to the German Grand Prix.
"The normal plan was to bring the cars to the French Grand Prix, the next Grand Prix, but three weeks ago our wind tunnel broke so our schedule was delayed by a week, so our new car will appear in Germany," Suzuki confirmed. "If we bring the new car, I'm sure we will bring two cars."
"Everybody knows our team is still a very small team; only 120 people working," he added. "It normally takes a year to make a new car, it's very difficult but anyway we will test two times before the Grand Prix."
