Jacques Villeneuve says he would consider moving to the NASCAR series if his F1 career is to end at the close of the 2006 season. Villeneuve does look increasingly likely to be retained for another year by BMW after a strong showing this season, but he says he is considering other options if that isn't the case.
"Going to NASCAR might not be such a bad move because it's the most exciting series in the US and it's a completely different discipline to F1," Villeneuve said in Red Bull's paddock magazine 'Red Bulletin'. "I wouldn't consider it a step down."
