Montagny did not give up his dreams yet to race in Formula 1 after being set back as Super Aguri's third driver. He told Speed TV: "It's very hard to get a drive for sure, but you never know. Look at Pedro de la Rosa. He never thought that he would have a new chance to drive, and look where he is. If you are in F1 there is always a chance. If you're not, for sure you don't have any chance. I don't want to leave, so I'll keep pushing."
"Magny-Cours was a strange feeling for sure, because it was my home Grand Prix, and it was my last one with Super Aguri for now. It's the end of a story, but it's certainly the beginning of a new one. Anyway I'm very happy about the race, we had a fairly good pace, not too slow compared to the others. I think it was my best race, anyway."
"For a few years I was a test driver, but I'm back into F1 for racing, and I was quite pleased to do that. Sure now I would like to go with a better team or a better car. You always want more, you know how it is. It's normal for a driver!"
At the moment Montagny is still Super Aguri's third driver, but the Frenchman revealed he is looking at his options with other teams too. "I'm in contact with some teams, so we'll see what happens next."
