GP2 driver Adrian Valles will receive his maiden test in a Formula 1 car later this month. The 19-year-old Spanish driver will climb behind the wheel of the Spyker MF1 Racing M16 when the team tests at Silverstone Circuit on September 19th and 20th. The exact date of the test is still to be confirmed.
Team boss Colin Kolles commented, "Adrian has impressed the team with his performances in both Renault World Series and GP2. We understand the importance of being the first to test young talents like Adrian in order to assess their potential for Formula 1, and we are looking forward to a good performance from him."
Adrian Valles added, "I am very pleased to have my first F1 drive with Spyker MF1 Racing. It is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate my capabilities, and I know that I will to reward them for the confidence they are showing in me."
