Felipe Massa had his F1 future officially confirmed with Ferrari yesterday, and his contract extended until the end of 2008 after Michael Schumacher confirmed his retirement at the end of this season.
"I think from one side it's sad because we'll miss the most fantastic driver in Formula One and a fantastic man - I'll really miss him as we have a great relationship," Massa said.
The Brazilian will team up with Kimi Raikkonen next season.
"I think it's great for the team to have two quick drivers next season and we have two young drivers who are both motivated and pushing hard and I'm ready for the challenge," Massa added. "It's very good for me and both want to fight for the championship and prove ourselves."
