Rosberg expects a lot from Toyota engines

13 September 2006

WilliamsF1 driver Nico Rosberg has a lot of faith in next year's engine partner Toyota. At the moment the team is still racing with Cosworth V8 engines, but a three-year deal with Toyota was announced earlier this season.

Rosberg said in his Castrol column for ITV-F1: "With the Toyota engine deal starting next year though I have a great deal of faith that we can all get it right. Frank (Williams) wouldn't have done the deal if he didn't think Toyota was committed to the racing ideals of this team."

"We start testing with the first of the Toyota engines before the end of this month, which says to me that they are ready to put the effort in and give the new combination the best preparation possible."
