Ammermuller enjoys F1 debut

On Wednesday Red Bull supported driver Michael Ammermuller had his first taste of a Formula 1 car on a race track. The German's goal was to cover at least 300 kilometres to try and obtain his FIA Superlicense. He covered over 450km and was afterwards happy with his result.

"It felt a lot quicker than on a straight line," said Ammermuller who has been doing straight line testing for Red Bull earlier this year. He continued saying: "Especially on the high speed corners, and also under braking it was impressive."

"I had my own seat in the car installed so the car was completely ready for me. I only had to get to know the car better such as the steering wheel. We tried various settings."
